One-Stop English membership is designed for professionals who already can communicate in English and want to speak with greater clarity and confidence in work situations

It is a good fit if you:

  • Have an intermediate to advanced level of English

  • Lack confidence when speaking in English

  • Are motivated to learn and to improve

  • Enjoy small group sessions

It may not be right for you if you:

  • Need basic English or grammar instruction

  • Do not need to speak English at work

  • Expect results without effort

  • Want a large busy group

The membership is currently small. Live sessions always go ahead no matter how many attend.

Joining now gives more individual speaking time and guidance.

What happens when you join the membership?

The focus of One-Stop English is regular, guided speaking practice, supported by practical resources for use between sessions

Live Speaking Practice

1. You are invited to regular weekly live sessions

Times are adjusted to suit members where possible. Additional time slots will be added as the membership grows.

2. Sessions focus on workplace situations

Meetings, giving presentations, negotiations, expressing opinions, small talk

3. You will have the opportunity to speak

Activities are designed to prompt you to speak in a safe and supportive setting.

4. Sessions will run even if numbers are low

Fewer numbers means more opportunity to speak and to receive feedback!

To help you to continue learning between sessions, members have access to:

  • Word of the Week

  • Activity prompts

  • A space to ask questions and to make suggestions

  • The opportunity to interact with other members

Mini-courses and resources

  • Useful expressions for meetings, presentations and discussions

  • Guidance on writing emails

  • Short, mini-courses

  • Advice on communicating with native speakers and building confidence.

New materials are added gradually and will evolve based on members' feedback
